While Ben Tre is widely known as the land of endless coconut groves, there is another treasured fruit often referred to as the “Green Peel Pink Flesh Pomelo.” This fruit captivates with its rich, memorable flavor. Known for its delicate nature, this pomelo variety requires meticulous care from planting to harvesting. As a result, it is classified as a high-quality fruit with strong competitive potential in both domestic and international markets. The harvest season for green peel pink flesh pomelos typically occurs between May and June each year.

The green peel pink flesh pomelo from Ben Tre is recognized as a specialty fruit with significant development potential and strong competitive advantages in both domestic and export markets. The pomelo-growing areas in Ben Tre, linked with Mova Plus, cover 60 hectares, accounting for 60% of the supply, while an additional 40 hectares in Binh Thuan contribute 40%. Combined, these two regions produce an annual yield of 2,000 tons, equivalent to 120 export containers. Mova Plus carefully selects growers for exporting this premium pomelo, ensuring compliance with EU planting region codes, Global GAP standards, and ISO 22,000 factory certification, alongside EU packing facility codes.
